ARAb Quality Assessment Scheme (QAS)

We thank all participants for their interest and collaboration. The proficiency test will be discontinued as many alternatives are available, but the results will remain available on the website until the end of 2026. Reach out to our Product Manager for any questions or additional support.

Our quality assessment scheme has been established in 1996 due to the fact that no standardization is available for the acetylcholine receptor antibodies.

The assessment scheme runs two times per year. With each trial three samples with different concentrations are provided. Each participant sends back quantitative and qualitative results. The participation in this scheme is free of charge and of course the results are handled confidentially.

The ring trials (proficiency tests) offered by Tecan, IBL International GmbH are a voluntary and free service. They are not subject to the requirements and framework conditions of the German Medical Review Board (RiliBÄK).
