Rheumatic diseases

Rheumatoid factors are autoantibodies. They are increasingly detachable in patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. Simultaneously, the RF can occur in other autoimmune diseases such as Sj gren`s syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus. At the beginning of the RA the RF are rarely positive and after a duration of more than one year the frequency reaches 70-80 %.
