Neonatal Screening
Newborn screening is a public health program designed to screen infants shortly after birth for a list of conditions that are treatable, but not clinically evident in the newborn period. If these conditions are identified at time of birth, the child can be treated and saved from potentially devastating consequences. Our neonatal screening portfolio comprises immunoassays and enzymatic assays and cover widely targeted diseases. We offer tests for cystic fibrosis (IRT), congenital hypotyroidism (TSH) and phenylketonuria (PKU).
