Catecholamines / Neurotransmitters
This product group contains the catecholamines adrenalin (epinephrine), noradrenalin (norepinephrine) and dopamine as well as their metabolites metanephrine and normetanephrine as RIAs and ELISAs. In addition to these, IBL International offers assays for the determination of serotonin, 5-hydroxyindole acetic acid, melatonin and melatoninsulphate (6-hydroxymelatoninsulphate, 6-sulphatoxymelatonin), as well as histamine. The entire group is also known as “the biogenic amines”.
